The Q&A

What do I wear?

Dress code: Cocktail.
The ceremony and cocktail party will be outdoors if it's not raining. We recommend bringing a light jacket – Hobart's weather can be fickle.

Will you accept gifts?

The most important gift is having you celebrate with us (note: we will be accepting compliments). If you'd like to leave us a few thoughtful words, there’ll be a card box at the reception.

How will I get there?

A coach will depart Brooke Street Pier in Hobart at 2pm sharp (please arrive by 1.45pm to board). The return coach will leave Cremorne at 11.45pm.

If you're driving, there's off-street parking along the road and a nearby carpark.

Is there a recovery day?

Yes – there will be a relaxed recovery day at Cremorne from 11am the following day.
Come for a swim, food or just a quiet patch of sand to snooze on.

Where do I stay?

If you're travelling to our wedding, the easiest option is to stay in Hobart, as the coach to the ceremony departs from Brooke St Pier. Great areas to look at include Battery Point, Salamanca, Hobart CBD and Sandy Bay – all close to restaurants, cafés and the waterfront (and perfect for a pre-wedding wander).

If you’d prefer something quieter and closer to the venue, Cremorne and the nearby beaches (Lauderdale, Clifton Beach, South Arm) have some lovely Airbnbs.

We recommend hiring a car while you're here, as public transport in Hobart is fairly limited.

If you have any questions about accommodation or childcare, feel free to email us at lucyandlinden@gmail.com – we’re very happy to help (or at least point you in the right direction).

Please RSVP by 16 January. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
